I was thrilled to be invited to take part in this exhibition put on my the British Hat Guild, which is all about the Innovation and Creation of millinery.

In “Hats; Innovation and Creation,” Sahar takes inspiration from the film Beetlejuice. As a young teen, Beetlejuice was the first film that truly captivated her, embodying the very essence of innovation and creation. Tim Burton’s imaginative world inspired her journey into millinery, making this film the perfect muse for this exhibition. This black and white striped straw hat, with its flamboyant pleats and whimsical graveyard of bird feet, skulls, and hidden treasures, is a tribute to that early inspiration and celebrates the boundless creativity that has shaped her work.
