The Fall 2017 runways were filled with headgear of all shapes and sizes, including the cloche hats in Jacquemus and head turban in Gucci. If you’re looking for a new hats, the options are infinite. Here are some of my favourite styles from the runway:
Cloche Hats
Cloche hats were popular in the ‘20s and ‘30s fashion. The word ‘cloche’ means ‘bell’ in french. This Fall, designer Simone Porte Jacquemus paired the retro headwear with his surreal silhouettes (below right) and Mark Jacobs created lovely melusine structured cloches.

The Beret Dior
The Beret is a soft, round, flat-crowned hat. At Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri accessorized every look with a black leather beret. Call it a punk take on the French staple.

The Turban Gucci
When it comes to chicness, you can’t really go without a turban. Gucci went the ’70s-inspired route this season, sending out vibrantly colored silk turbans with over-the-top outfits.

Hats are taking center stage this Fall, take a look at the Sahar Millinery Collection. You might find some winter hats that will be your stylish shield from the chilly weather.

Sahar Millinery’s take on the turban is a ‘Faux-Turban’ – a very wearable elasticated front part of a turban. This one is a very plush deep red velvet! You can see more Faux-Turbans here: www.saharmillinery.co.uk/product-category/faux-turbans-and-trinkets
Sahar Millinery has a pop up shop in Battersea in December – stay tuned for more information!
