Bridal Fascinators and Wedding Headbands

Bridal Fascinators

Bridal headwear is a fun part of designing your wedding outfit. After the dress, the headgear usually the second most important choice. Traditional brides might opt for an ivory veil or jewelled wedding headbands. Here at Sahar Millinery, we specialize in the not-so-traditional vibe and love to see our brides express themselves in a manner which is truly them.

For example, the 50’s chick and her dotted ivory birdcage veil; the 20’s lover looking for a turban or flapper headband; the alternative bride who picks our taxidermy butterfly hat; or the boho bride wanting something romantic and floaty.

We have a selection here for you to get an idea of our style, and we would be happy to meet with you to consult on making and designing your headpiece of choice. Sahar can make your unique bridal hat to compliment your dress and complexion, with the option of a full service for bridesmaids and mother of the bride.

Most of the shapes and styles you see on the website can be created in ivory, or another colour. We have birdcage veil and a variety of flower styles to choose from, as well as feathers, lace, and a plethora of other beautiful, high quality materials. Although most brides do opt for an ivory fascinator, we have made plenty of coloured headpieces for brides. For example, you might choose a pop of colour in the shoes, and you might want to match that in the hat.

Some brides enjoy hosting ‘hat parties’ and invite Sahar to visit you and your invited guests with a sample of wedding hats for guests, where orders can be taken on the night.

If you are having a hen-do, why not think about inviting Sahar to run one of her hat making workshops as part of the fun?

Your wedding day is a chance to treat yourself to a bespoke piece which tells your story, we love hearing and helping to tell those stories. We once had a bride who wanted to include a moth on her hat, because moth collecting was her husbands’ passion. Amongst our butterfly collection (all of which died naturally) we had a beautiful, large moth in silvers and greys. We edged this with gold leaf to match the brides’ accessories. She had her perfect bridal hat and an ode to her husband. Another bride came to her appointment with her late mothers favourite brooch and asked us to incorporate it, so we placed it at the centre of the flower, where it glistened beautifully.

We create hats as stories of love and life.
