Birdcage Veil

Veiling comes in many subtly different styles, and many colours. We have some genuine vintage birdcage veil in the studio, which is very hard to find and has the most beautiful fine soft quality to it. We also have polka dot veiling, and honeycomb veiling.

Veiling can be used with a variety of hat styles. A standard choice is a fascinator with birdcage veil across the face. Veiling could also be used on larger hats, and could be used as a trim on the crown, instead of over the face.

If you see a hat on another section of the website without a veil, then most of the time we can remake it for you, with a veil. That is, unless we’ve deliberately left it off because we don’t think it goes with the style of the hat. We will be honest with you about our design choices, and also listen to your requests and ideas.
