About the Inspiration

Inspired by Isadora Duncan, the pioneering modern dancer who rejected restriction in favour of movement, nature, and emotional truth. Duncan believed the body itself was an instrument of expression, and that beauty should follow instinct rather than convention.

Dionysian takes its name from the ancient idea of ecstatic freedom — creation through movement, intuition, and life force. The feathers echo Duncan’s flowing silks and liberated gestures, while the natural straw and restrained metallic detail reflect her connection to classical form and the natural world.
