Sahar will be offering a millinery workshop on Saturday 11th March 10am 1pm followed by a vintage style Mad Hatters Tea Party 1pm 2pm. The setting is Atelier 19 in Cheltenham – a romantic wonderland of gowns, accessories and treasures. For two weeks in March the shop will be celebrating Cheltenham Races by hosting London Milliner Sahar Freemantle who will be showcasing her best racing hats in time for Ladies Day.

In the millinery workshop you will learn how to use Sinamay, the most commonly used material for wedding hats. Sahar will teach you how to sculpt this into flowers, manipulate feathers and attach birdcage veiling and other trinkets to your creations. Each participant will leave with their own fascinator.

If you have something special eg a brooch or piece of fabric, do bring it along and see if we can incorporate into your hat, and you have an outfit in mind to match your hat with, feel free to bring it along.

Afterwards you can then enjoy a vintage style Mad Hatters Tea Party and enjoy Afternoon Tea with fresh cakes and treats, whilst wearing your own creations (or Sahars!)
