How To Make Leather Hats: Hat Making Workshop Masterclass

£320.00

In this 2 day course, we learn how to block with leather in millinery, using ‘percher’ or fascinator wooden hat blocks as the hat base. We will learn about different foundation materials including buckrum, felt and fosshape to create our structure, and different types of leather we can use in hat making including nappa, fish leather, and suede.

We then stretch the leather around our base, and finish with wire and lining.

We will also look at decorative elements such as flowers and rouching.

Please note, this is only open for people who have blocked felt or similar material before, so please book on to our felt class before this one: www.saharmillinery.co.uk/product/on-day-vintage-hat-making-workshop-in-felt/
